Some things to remember:
- there's not enough months in the year to get everyones car in individually. hence i think we should use group photos or photos from SES events where plenty of people came along and can associate with the picture.
- Photos need to be hi-res. Every picture in this thread so far is a low resolution image. Hopefully people still have the hi-res versions of the photos posted up so far for when we come to put together a final list.
Without being too geeky (and i only know a little about this compared to Claire
), Jpegs off your digicam are typically 75dpi, but these normally need to be converted to 300dpi for printing. As a result, your photo is actually printed at 25% of the size that it looks on the screen (and hence photos that look ok on screen just sometimes aren't suitable for a decent print!)
