Default Show car white 106 gti treated to some love and some Zymol Vintage

Had this very tidy and Rare white Peugeot 106 gti in for a correction detail as the paintwork was VERY flat and lacking any real reflections.

So for no before pics the camera battery was dead....

The usual wash methods followed by a good claying with some polyclay took around 2-3 hrs just claying due to the car being white it just kept showing up more contamintaion everywhere....

Here is the typical condition of the paintwork, just lacking any real depth due to the oxidation and haze.

After a couple of hits with the Makita and a megs polishing pad and menz ip it was looking like this.

Before:

After:

Some more 50/50's

The tailgate was looking very poor with lots of deeper RDS and lots of oxidation...

The bonnet had been repainted due to the new Luvers that had been cut into the bonnet, plenty of deep sanding marks which on the whole the majority were removed and the rest were reduced greatly.

Once all the machining was finished the car was then cleansed with Zymol HD cleanse to prep the paintwork ready for some Zymol Vintage.

Finally the trim was treated to some smooth peanut butter to remove old polish residue marks and then dressed using cg new look trim gel, the tyres were dressed using AG rubber cleaner plus followed by CG new look trim gel, the exhaust polished using britemax and the glass cleaned sealed using Halfords rain repellent.

Final shots.

Thanks for looking
Paul
