I would not use a dedicated track tyre like an 888 on a heavy car on the road, you put too many heat cycles through them and they become hard, they are also generally not suitable to have on the car in the winter as the temperature in the UK drops to low for them overnight.

As for colour I always liked black chrome on my black bug
