The boost control pipes should be plumbed as per my post to CJ which I have copied below :
Standard 2-port plumbing :
turbo to T-piece (restrctor in pipe)
T-piece to Actuator
Bottom branch or T-piece to Boost Control Solenoid
Then Boost conrol solenoid to inlet manifold (the little black elbow just to left of main induction hose).

Yes its a standard boost solenoid.
i will check all the boost pipes and spray carb cleaner in boost sol. today cheers
what boost level should i be getting as it was working good @ 1.5bar, my defi`s read 1.5bar but surrey rolling road read 1.2bar...
