If I remember rightly when the P1 was launched one of the things that was not quite right was the spring rates where too soft compared to the Jap Sti's (they set them soft to deal with the UK roads) making the P1 tend to understeer abit compared to the jap V5/6 sti's (I think I read this originally in an autocar mag review while the P1 was on sale.)

I'm no expert on this mind, the Eibach Prodrive spring kit I had on my classic seemed to work great with new shocks, I'm sure we have had this conversation before! (they where red not blue, 30mm drop from standard over oe.) did you try a set of these already on the car before Scot?

Not saying prodrive got it wrong! but there might be a "better" fast road option than prodrives original spring rates.
