First thought was a plug blowing itself out, replace or regap them or just switch them around and see what happens.
The forced air issue Scott mentioned is interesting and very probable if the issue isn't there on the road.

changed plugs regapping as installing , not the maf as was run maf less on the symtec
simon has said its cam sensor related one way or other .
tryed a different sensor and still there .
Going to earth the cam sensor at the ECU and have another go
keep them coming !
