Oliver was lucky enough this weekend to be asked to produce some media in support of the promotion of the fresh rebuild of 2x Lancia Delta Integrale and a visit to the UK by 2x World Rally Champion Miki Biasion.
This required us to meet at the Manor Hotel in Castle Combe Village on Friday evening (I thought Castle Combe was just a race track, but OMG what a chocolate box Cotswold Village it really is)
There then followed a photo shoot and video recording of the arrival of the cars and a casual interview with Mikki Biasion.
Due to the narrow streets and bridge within the village, the double trailer could not get the cars in. So instead they were de-trailored and driven the last mile or so and up the drive to the Hotel. Now that was a once in a lifetime sight.
1st to arrive was the Black & Gold Grifone liveried car.
Followed by the classic Martini Racing livery:
Things were then setup for the Interview with Miki
Saturday required us to return to the Castle Combe Rally day where Miki was to take both the Lancia on track.
It was a great experience for everyone, especially for Oliver.
I was more than happy to be support crew/driver come bag carrier.
