Default unfortunately might have to sell, whats it worth?

Unfortunately i'm thinking of selling the impreza (Nige's old car!), reason being i think i'm going to need a bike again for work for the 80 mile daily commute to london. I only use the car a few times a month and can't justify running two cars and a bike at the same time.

reason for post is i have no idea of what the car is worth in the current climate, dealers tend to be selling impreza's for stupid money, people who advertise their prized possessions on other forums seem to get shot down for the prices their asking! And i can't find anything for a similar spec to mine for sale at the minute.... if i can justify keeping it then i won't sell it but this seems the only logical way at the moment long term.

any thoughts or advice would be appreciated

spec as below....
2009 sti 2.5 short engine
Scoobyclinic TD05-20G turbo
Hdi Front Mounted intercooler
Oil catch can
K & N induction Kit
Group N engine Mounts
Walbro Fuel Pump
Roger Clark Motorsport Oil pump
Exedy Organic Clutch kit
25 row Oil cooler
Deatsch werks 650cc Injectors
Simtek ECU with anti lag on switch fitted and mapped by JGM (been told it has launch control too but never tried it and don't know how to use it)
HKS Hi Power exhaust system
Decat pipes
Harvey Smith Headers and up pipe

BC Coilovers - with extenders on rear shocks
front and rear sti strut braces
whiteline anti lift kit
whiteline anti roll bars
subframe spacers
drop link kit

18x9 Rota G-Force alloys
Bridgestone Potenza tyres
Brembo front and rear brakes

polyurethane front splitter
Morette headlight conversion
foglights covered up for fmic pipes
22b rear spoiler

Standard sti buckets front and rear
Boost gauge and Oil Temp Gauge housed in pillar
Sony Stereo with Bluetooth Mp3 and built in handsfree
Sparco steering wheel

Sigma Alarm
Tracker

cars done 78k now with the ej25 block being put in at 64800k, was recently serviced at slowboy racing and given a clean bill of health

The fact Nige owned it before you must de-value it vastly

No, in truth, a lot of us know this car well from when Nige had it, when Nige had it, it was a well sorted scooby. In truth I don't know a vast amount of what Greigs brother did with it and how good it was after he fettled with it.

It's incredibly hard to put a value on it, as it will never get you back what it's worth, what with all the modding that has gone into it. My guess is it will be worth not that much less than you paid for it to be honest, whatever that was?

Greigs brother fitted the wheels, oil cooler, injectors, Hks exhaust, anti lift kit, subframe spacers, anti roll bars, coilovers and Simtek.....

I can't fault the car at all, love it to bits but its head over heart at the moment!

I eventually paid 8400 for the car, i know what i'd accept for it if i sell it..... its not that much tho!

Going on that then, you have to be looking for about £7500 - £7750.

I'm sure you will have no bother selling at the that kind of price.

Go on Rob buy it and drive up and down Nige's road, so he can here the scooby sound and see a real silver performance car actually moving around town rather then too and from Rye (more often too, then from).

Oi mr std car when you take a risk or two things can go & do go wrong. Not the cars fault i might add. Anyway you can't drive past my house. The road ends 20ft away & is protected from Scoobs.

Love to buy it just wind Nige up.. I'm a bit mean when it comes to offering a price for a car.... So can see me sticking with and playing with my classic saloon for now, and may be a blob/hawk or even a hatch STI at some point.

Good news for me!! No longer need to sell the car, the riots and looting in london have meant i've done enough overtime the last couple of weeks to finance a small war....... I haven't had a day off work since July, slept hardly or been home for the last two weeks, her indoors has got the raging hump too but hey ho it's been worth it now i can keep the impreza!

Got enough funds saved now to sort out my commuting issues and even throw a few quid at the car too
