I hope someone can help me I took my Scoob for it's mot today it passed fine yay lol then when I left the garage I pulled on to the main road put my foot down and the car did not boost but could hear the turbo hissing as I accelerated. I kept trying to boost the Scoob but with no luck then all of a sudden after about half a mile she started boosting again and has been fine since this am thinking maybe it was just a funny few mins?
Thanks in advance Martin |

hissing means there's a leak between the turbo and the intake manifold. had the same thing on mine and it turned out that the intercooler wasn't bolted down tight enough and it had pushed itself backwards towards the bulkhead with the short hose between it and the throttle body coming lose and air escaping at that point

if you have the standard recirculating dump valve, I suppose that could have stuck open for a bit which would have made a similar sound, although slightly muffled.

It is running a bailey's dump valve I suppose that could be a possible cause of it as like I said earlier she has been running fine since then.
