Default European Rallycross Championship, Lydden Hill - Part 2

About a week too late posting these, but better later than never!

A selection of my snaps from the first round of the European Rallycross Championship, as held at Lydden Hill. Hope you enjoy!

A few off circuit shots as well, a Metro 6R4...

..a Lada...

...and a Metro 6F4?

Surely a Metro WTF4????

Great photos!

Having enjoyed the live coverage of the UK round on MotorsTV, I was looking forward to watching the European round, but it appears that they only have rites for the highlights.....

I was sure they showed the European round at Lydden live last year, so I was expecting the same again this time round. I'll be honest I'm kind of in two minds with regards to the live coverage. Its great that the event is getting "proper" coverage in the same way as other more recognised race series, but given the nature of rallycross events (many races in not much time) the live coverage can spoil it a bit for those actually at the circuit (races being held for advert breaks etc.).

Still, should be glad for any and all exposure for the sport really.
