absolute rubbish.

rooney did nothing all game apart from give the ball away, in that form i'd start defoe and crouch up front. yes rooney is a class player, but if he's not on form, he shouldn't be gifted a place in the team!

and don't even get me start about glen johnson

Never seen anything like it. Its as if they just werent bothered. It obviously isnt a happy camp at the moment. Next time, Johnson OFF, lampard OFF and if rooney doesnt look any good, take him off after 20 mins too. Give some of the others a chance to shine, as they clearly want it more.

What rooney needs to remember is that all those fans paid alot of money and have looked forward to it for ages, to be greeted with that . These guys are being paid stupid money and should have no excuses. In the real world if any of us performed like that in our jobs we'd have questions to answer. aarrrgghhh ...... rant over for now.!!

lampard is always crap for england, rooney is played out of position but was horrendous last night and as others have said they have no pride. when half of the team don't even bother to sing the national anthem how can they be bothered to try that hard, if they don't win they still come home to massive mansions and £100,000 + a week.

They should live in the real world.

If they dont complete their job they dont get paid, simple.

Where is the pride and passion????

Lampard has scored more and has more assists then Gerrard in less games for England

Funny how you say he was played out of position, but says he wants to play with Heskey in that position

i know lampard scores more goals james but in my eyes he never really offers much else to the game, his passing isn't great and team work is not brilliant either. i know what your saying about rooney, its a shame heskey can't finish because he does hold up the ball well for other strikers but i don't think rooney is the right striker to play off him, he needs to be up front on his own, but then he'll moan he's not getting the service. even being a utd fan, rooney is going down in my expectations very quickly in these past few games but i really hope he picks himself up soon or he could be fifnished earlier than expected.

Nope of them looked like they wanted to be there.

SWP and Lennon are NOT international players.

Carragher is past it, give Dawson a go (will have to in the next game now)

And what has happened to Joe Cole? At least give him 20 mins to see show what he can do.

I hope we do win & go through, but if we do, we have to improve a hell of a lot to get any further.

Looks like a few good countries aren't going to get past the group stage.

If we can improve, we do have a fair chance of going all the way

I'm just glad me, Laura, Martyn and Niki just got ****faced until 1.00am in the morning.

Me and Martyn had a good swear or two at the box and then just carried on with the old Havana Rum

Agree Lennon not international and has not shown what he does for spurs, but still beleive if he gets his confidence he can make a real diference, i watch him at tottenhma all season and it looks like he has been told to get early crosses in and not to take on players, which to be honest is what he is best at, he can skin players all th etime, its just his final cross ehich lets him down.
Now getting off my Yid soap box
