Default ZX1 - best £20 spent in a long while :)

Has anyone else here introduced Extralube ZX1 Micro Oil Metal Treatment to their engine oil?

I was recommended it by the owner / chief mechanic of Sussex Road and Race, Kevin. I was a little sceptical, but trust Kevin knowing his background in tuning race prepared minis. Kevin told me that he's tested the affect of ZX1 by sticking one of his minis on the rolling road before and after adding it. The bhp increased a little, but the main difference was the increase in torque seen. This makes sense since the product is marketed as a "friction eliminator".

I added 200ml of ZX1 to my hawk eye last weekend and was immediately impressed with the effect it's had. My car now pulls harder especially from 3500rpm onwards. Okay it's not a quantum leap in performance, but definitely noticeable and for only £20. Plus the blurb on the bottle states that it protects the engine on cold start, bonus!!

I'd definitely recommend it...

I'd be interested to hear the views of others who have used it

Mike

You would be better of buying a good oil with nano tec in it which does the same and would cost less and work better IMHO

Thanks for your reply CJ.

What oil would you recommend that has nano tech? I'm using Shell Helix fully synthetic at the moment.

Cheers

if it was so easy all of the major oil companies would do it........

as above the likes of the Millers CFS NT range (or their std CFS triple ester) & Motul 300v are exceptional oil quality

(all stock items and at deal pricing)
