Default Geometry/Alignment - near Gatwick/Crawley

Morning.

Not sure if this is the best place on the forum to post this, so apologies if not!

I am looking to get the geometry/alignment on the Forester tweaked as I have uneven tyre wear on the front at present.

The guys I know who do it and can be trusted are a fair schlep from me, so rather than take a day off or use up valuable weekend time I was wondering if anyone knew of a trusted place in and around the Gatwick/Crawley area that I could pop to see during the week.

Thanks.

Those three seem to be good recommendations, i'd agree! Next closest in my own experience would be with Brent at Southern Motor Developments. He did my type r recently and I have been happy with that.

Thanks for replying.

Good to know Gatwick are on the trusted list, as that is about a mile from where I work.

I'll give them a call. Will they be clued up for "fast road" or are they likely to just set it up based on database figures?

Apologies for the add on questions!

Not sure on Gatwick these days, mine was done there some time ago but Dave H isn't there any more and he was very much the main man.

If you can find someone with a bit of know how, and some decent calibrated equipment to do a 4 wheel alignment, you can get them to dial in some good settings for sure!

You might need camber bolts though? Not sure as I do not know the forrester too well.

Camber bolts are on the list for the rear.

May not be needed, but cheap enough so worth having I think.

Thanks for your thoughts on Gatwick matey. It is a pain when good people move!!
