Another thing, it's just a short block as didn't want the avcs heads as I would need a new ecu ect, I've done some research and found that I can use my heads from my wrx, but can I use other things like inlet manifold, alternator ect? Cheers guys

You can use all your current engine components . I'd remove the tumblers tho

Right delivery sorted, the seller sorted it it coming Friday by a company called express pallets or something like that, cheers guys, thanks Si I would have thought the alternator ect would've been the same aswell, I might just buy a sti one with the tgv delete, whatever that is lol as they're only about £100. Going to be using my heads just gonna get them skimmed, will I need arp head bolts? Also will my fuel rails fit, again I think they will as the injectors from an sti fit the wrx so will just get some pink injectors. Next thing is turbo

Only hiccup could be if you got a Spec C manifold (one piece) as the std WRX/STI fuel rails don't fit.

There is no point in changing your current one , Jdm one flows no more .
TGV is the tumbler generator valves , a sort of extra chock . You can just remove them out of your existing

Ok cheers again cj, and what about injector rails I take it they are the same mate, gonna order some pink injectors over the next couple of days, a mate of mine has some freshly skimmed heads so I might use them, then I can get the engine built without having to take mine out remove heads from mine and fit to new engine.

As long as you have the Tumbler blocks (with or without tumbler valves) your fuel rails will fit, it's only the spec C 1Piece manifolds that require different rails.

i just fitted a sti inlet manifold complete with the tumbler deletes on mine as mine also had the injectors and rail on it, worth changing rubber turbo intake hose at same time if it is looking a bit perished round the jubilee clip going to to the turbo.
i didn't and had a really fun time trying to replace it after fitting the manifold. |
