Looks that way doesn't it, but not the case. Was a genuine WRC item on the earlier newage cars, probably up to 2004ish i guess.

That type was fitted to the later WRC cars Scotty

Doesn't really look right on a road car imo, its too much unless you happen to be driving a full wrc replica!
