Default Took the M3 to BMW - Not Happy

I took my M3 into BMW tunbridge wells yesterday, they diagnosed a clutch slave cylinder clutch position sensor, its an SMG
All being taken care of by the garage i brought the car from only 3 days ago.
So i went to collect the car tonight after work, all very helpfull and informative.
I got into my car started it and took a few minutes to set the seat position up and then noticed i had zero fuel, light on and trip showing 4 miles remaining.
I had put £30 in the car minutes before dropping it off with them.
Which had showed about 115 miles on the fuel computer.
I went back in and demanded explanations to why my car had done over 100 miles and i had been left with zero fuel.
They register the mileage when the car is booked in, so i proved that they had actually done 97 miles in it.
This is way way to many miles for any road test.
To cut a long story short they compensated me for £20 of fuel, big deal.
They said it was road tested by there collection driver, i told them i beleived it had been used to run customers to and fro.
I said i will not be using them again and will be writing a letter of complaint.
I had to take it to main dealer as i had just purchased the car.
It will be taken to Munic Legends from now on, they have a fantastic reputation.
And yes i am expecting one of you to tell me i should have brought another scoob

Should of bought another scoob. Who in their right mind would want one of those unreliable German bits of ****enhousen?

Mate, I think they are ****ing shocking, you can tell them in your complaint that the have lost another customer on the back of it. Bunch of spakkers.

There are a lot of conflicting opinions about munich legends.....I have generally had good visits (bought two cars and numerous servicing/repairs done) but they aren't cheap and will always 'find' something else that needs doing. There recent spuce up to their premises is probably on the back of my payments over the years!

Thats not good news about BMW but personally i wouldnt go near Munich Legends, i used to own an M5 3.8 and i knew a few people who had used them and got stitched, i also know someone who bought an E24 M6 after a full ML inspection before sale that had terminal rot!!!.
Personally i would take any M Power car to Phil Crouch....

What about Leda Engineering in Hastings
A bit of a back street dive but many many people in the area use him for BMW servicing and repairs.
His labour rates are dirt cheap too....

I know Ray Monroe very well, he's got a good set up down there and i would use him for certain things, if you want a stamp in the book though for servicing id want to use a MPower Specialist, CPC Aka Phil Crouch! or Darren at Darjac racing.

My mate had his e36 328i seviced and the rear diff level checked.
£900 later he brought it to my house, we looked at the diff and the level hadn't been touched it was low! At Munich Legends.

Good feedback guys, just goes to show its sure worth asking.
Tone,yes it was coopers.
I was very tempted to get a RB320 but i have my good old classic to play in, the bmw is something for work with some comfort.
Me and Worzel had a little drive back from Surrey RR yesterday and the M3 kept me smiling all the way.Oh and Worzels scoob sounds like a Tornando jet.

If you want your E46 to be tip top....

My mate Kris was going to take his E36 M3 Individual to Bexley Motor Works for a Inspection 1 service 'til i advised him to take it to Phil.
Basically Phil did the valve clearances for him free of charge which is usually a inspection 2 job.
Oh and he also machine polished the whole car for him (my mate doesnt understand the concept of polish!) and valeted the thing inside and out, again all free of charge!.
Oh and did i mention he also fits the S54 lump into TVR's??....

Another Vote for Ray and Leda. Used him on all my BMW's. He always has time for you, and many a time just drove up there to pick his brains to help diagnose a problem for me to fix. Last time I went to him Chandlers BMW Eastbourne were on the phone to him asking for advise.!

His base of operation lets him down, but never judge a book by its cover as they say.
