Default My God

A good friend of mine (Dave) has just changed jobs. He once told me that his former boss had some awesome cars.
Last Saturday I went to Peterborough for Dave’s surprise 40th Birthday party and after a while a few of them came out to look at my P1.
One of the guys was Dave’s former boss and he introduced me to him.
We got chatting and I asked him what cars he currently had, so he told me. He stood there with his eyes closed throughout and said the following:-
Enzo
F40
FXX
FXX race car
330 Gt
456
356 GTC/4
308 GT4
Gallardo
Diablo
Countach 5000
Murclelago
Mucleleago race car
Espada
GT2
GT2 race car
GT3
959
911 Turbo (2 of)
Carrera GT
Carrera GT full race
Bentley Arnage
Bentley Continental Flying Spur
Two weeks ago he had a Koengsegg CCX delivered.
He has just done a deal with a guy and bought a Pagani Zonda R.
The Saleen S7 is being delivered in February.
He is currently having a £ 3.5M house built with a garage on either end. When you drive in the left one it takes the car down into an underground garage built for 40 cars. To exit you drive onto a platform and come up in the other garage.

After I had got up off the floor I asked him his favourite.
Reply: “Enzo, I use it as my car & currently has 26K clocked.

When he began to list his cars I asked him to stop, which he did. Reached for my iphone & hit record, then asked him to start again. This is how I have remembered the list.

I remember walking away thinking yoooo flash bastad 

I think with that list I could live without my Scoob!

The list starts off very impressive, but then goes down hill in the bottom 1/3 in my opinion.
If hes done 26k in the Enzo when does he get time to use the rest???

My boss just got rid of his F50 that he used to use to drive around the field shooting rabbits!!!

He drives the Enzo. Two thirds are in storage awaiting his new house. One third scattered in showrooms around Europe.

Owns a communications company.

Thats a horrific amount of money.

I must admit I don't get people who collect "trophies" like that. Drive the bloody things or get them into car museums for people to see.

With an endless banl account I would have no more than half a dozen.

Couldn't agree more. I would have to use them and I think that 6 is a nice number of cars to have. Afterall, Sundays is for drinking! Would have to have an asortment for different occasions too!

My 6:

Audi R8 V10 - White ( Just love em)
Porsche GT3 RS - White (Always wanted a 911)
Bently GT - Met grey with red leather (My practical comfortable car when I have a head ache)
My Scoob but with advans! (Still my favorite car out of this lot - lol)
Range rover Sport TDV8 - Black with cream leather (for when it rains or I may need to park on a kerb outside the offy)
Ferrari 250 GT California.(Just watch ferris bueller and you'll see why)

Not that I've given it much thought

I totally agree with many of you and I would keep my Scooby too.
I have been fortunate and driven some good cars in the past including two 911 Turbo's - Lambo Countache, Ferrari 308GT, two Lotus Esprit, Evo 7,8,9 & 10 and many yanks(muscle) and nothing comes close to the P1.

i agree, it just looks fat and ugly i reckon. can't fault the engineering behind it, but it just doesn't look how a hypercar should in my opinion.

love the Murcielago, and for some reason i really like the Merc SLR as well (mostly due to the way it sounds like!)
