Andy was involved in an accident earlier this week. He is fine but his van is a bit worse for wear.

He was exiting a round-about on the A217 when a lorry drove into the side of his work van.

He has no internet access at the moment, but when he does, im hoping he will post a pic or 2 up of the van

Important thing is that he is ok (back at work next day)

Could have been much worse, and lucky for him, he wasn't in his car

Hey everyone, back online now thanks for all the kind reply's yeah was abit scary to say the least.

Basically i was comming to the end of the A217 about to go over the round about into sutton, i entered the round about in the right lane to go over it, then i indicated left to take the second exit into sutton when a lorry from the left in belmont rise failed to stop at the junction and ploughed headon straight into the passenger side of my work van pushing me past the exit into the middle of the round about. I was ok apart from banging my knees and the guys in the lorry were ok too. The driver in the lorry didnt even say sorry but i heard him muttering on the phone to his boss saying it was his fault, but with it going through the insurers its down to them i guess to sort it out. It wasnt a high speed crash as i was going through a roundabout but the lorry did push me a quite along way so i guess he was going too fast or just didnt see me. The van needs new bonnet, front wing, door, rear quarter, windscreen, wishbone, suspension and the a and b pillers are bent and the bottom part of the chassis bent too. Looks like its going to be a write off but just have to wait and see.

ill get some pics up as soon as i can

Dont think i will be mate, even if i am it wont be anytime soon, all the stuff theve had a look at is just what can be seen on the surface, the passenger door dosent open at all.

Yeah think you best drive tonight mate, there might be some parts of the van still there at the round about

Heres a better view of what happend, i was further forward than the silver corsa and the lorry came from where the white van is but it was further back, i just reached the exit when the lorry failed to stop and went into the side of me
