Default This months Total Impreza
I always thought it was a no-brainer to change the fuel pump, but the write up in this month TI suggests thats no always true. Even goes to say that the Walbro 255 isnt as good as the stock item??

Any thoughts?

It's a doddle to change and I have to say I have never heard bad things about the walbro. They have been fitting them to scoobs for a good 10 yes

True, got a welbro on mine now and have noticed a difference, even got better fuel economy, but dont know how that works, hopefully some of the experienced scooby owners can shed some light on this

Injectors spray pattern better at slightly higher pressure and better throttle response mean you dont have to use as much throttle in normal driving

Yes, I map it.. and they couldn't even get that right and put up engine details of another car... so it read as someone else other than stew built his own engine!

Bloody hell, didn't know that! (didn't look at the spec as I can see it on surrey) I hope they are going to sort it by giving him another feature or something? the project thread he has done over on Surrey shows how much work he put in!

The spec they put was an engine tuner 2.1..... Stews is a 2.35 built by his own hands

Bosch are used by many guys I know. The Bosch Motorsport 10 Br will cope with anything you throw at it.
