Default Newbie and soon to be a Scooby owner ;)

Ello.... Just thought id say a quick Hi....

Im John, 38 () From Just outside Brighton....

I hopefully pick up my new car this saturday or sunday, its a WR blue 04 plate Wrx Sti with Prodrive, and im coming over to a scoob from a Focus ST-3 running 300BHP

I was recommended to Join By Steve who's already a member, but I dont know his username on here as yet!

Ive already sorted some upgrades to the car... Prosport Gauge kit inc Mounting pod, Ninja II Full exhaust system (Cat back at the moment, may go for a decat at some point) Induction kit, with Blue filter and a Blitz BOV..

But Ladies 'n' gents, Id like your opinion on something, I have seen the WR Graphics kit for the car from Xgraphicsonline for a very reasonable price, what are your thoughs on a scoob with rally graphics??? Chavvy? Good? Bad? dont bother? etc etc etc

Hope to meet up with some of you at some point in the future?

J5

Welcome! I'm not sure on the Graphics myself - prefer the clean look!! We've got a couple of classics with graphics that look excellent but no newages on here as far as I know.

Must admit the amount of Steves does come in useful at meets for newbies as you have a 1 in 2 chance of getting somebodies name right if you call them Steve.

Ello John, welcome along matey. Yup, mine is 'Lucky', for obvious reasons!.

Looking forward to seeing the car

Personally I prefer the clean look on newage scoobs. The other mods you are doing are good ones, and as I said the other day, may be worth getting Brent at SMD in Newhaven to do the gauges. He sorted mine for me and they have been spot on

I fitted my Prosports myself but can reccomend Brent for anything you need doing!

Mine switch on the dimmer switch not on the lights being on or off as I drive with sielights on most of the time and I want daytime lighting on the gauges when I am.

Ello Steve...... Nice to hook up on here... IM collecting the car this afternoon

Gauges look amazing in yours... Is £295 including the pod about the right price for the 3 gauge set?

to ses, personally i like graphics but was a little different with mine, went for the black on WR blue look with silver shadows!
Looks nice but at the same time subtle imo.

must say though its a bit of a pain to polish unless you use one that DOESN'T leave white residue!!

Must admit I forgot how good rich's car looked!

Prosports can be had cheaper than the Scoobyworld price but not by much and you'll be waiting a while! I don't really like the pods they come with though - and am not paying the extra for the 'defi' pod they offer.
