Default Rallycross Test Day - Lydden Hill
Last weekend was the annual test day before the rallycross season kicks off next month. No racing, but a good range of cars out on the circuit all being put through their paces and interesting to see what’s going to be running this year. Took a few pictures and this is what I got…





Mate, I think you’ve forgotten something…



…no, wait a minute, there it is!





New car for the 2013 European Rallycross Championship, not sure on the livery, but it sounded savage on track…



…can’t wait to see it in action next month!





The Retro Rallycross championship also has some new (or should that be old?) entrants for 2013:

Also got to have a little go myself and do a few laps of the Lydden Hill Rallycross circuit behind the wheel of a Suzuki Swift. Wished I’d have booked more than one session, as it was brilliant fun.

Sadly I didn’t get any pictures of me going round, so you’ll just have to take my word for it that I smashed the current lap record…

Great photos mate, you've got some good panning skills there looking at the long shutter speed you're using!

Driving round in a Swift was a properly laugh, so I'm guessing the RX150 buggies are even more fun! Chap in the picture was having some cornering, er, "issues" though!

Cheers mate! Seemed like a good chance to practise my panning when there was no racing to miss!
