Default Rallycross Test Day - Lydden Hill
Had a wander down to Lydden a couple of weeks ago for their annual rallycross test day. No racing, but some pretty cool cars out on the track, so I thought I’d chuck some pictures up!









The buggies looked a proper hoot. There was also a pair of two seat buggies on track which were getting seriously sideways.









Every track day needs some Peugeot 205 action!

There have been loads of driver/team/car changes announced for the 2014 season, but one name has received noticeably more press than any other…





…I had no idea Jacques Villeneuve was going to be testing at Lydden, so was a pleasant surprise to be able to see him giving the 208 some abuse.

Cool photos

I'd seen that Villeneuve was doing world rallycross in the news, so cool to see him over here getting some practice in.

He'll be missing the UK event at Lydden in May though, as he's doing the Indy 500 this year which is on the same weekend - its 19 years since he won it last!

I read that with regards to Lydden. Pity he won't be there but if I'm honest I'm not actually a massive Villeneuve fan; its a great bit of PR for the World Rallycross Championship though!

I went to the first BTRDA round yesterday; really looking forward to the opening British Rallycross round at Lydden at the end of the month now!
