i still have a paper one and have never had it renewed for this very reason, plus the fact i disagree with the photo card shoite...........

I got a reminder when mine needed renewing. Pretty simple... send an up to date photo... job done.

By 2015 it looks like u have to change ur paper license to photo 1 don't even matter if u don't move now they don't like giving us a choice do they lol

Renewed mine in 2006 when we last moved.
Not sure what they now do to the licence, probably for some sort of digitial/electronic reason, but the photo on it is alot worse then the one sent.
I look like some sort of criminal that has had his head outlined with a thick black biro....terrible.
