Default Recent New Owner

Hello, just 6 weeks into Subaru ownership and learning the car. I have a 2010 registered WRX hatch which has been a revelation for us. We live slightly remotely and have many poorly paved roads so was looking for a car with a soft suspension, sensible tyres/wheels (i.e. not 20" low pro's) 4 wheel drive and serious reliability.

I've come from an 8 year old E65 7 series so am finding not only can I use roads which were simply too small before but that they are now fun! I can also get my mountain bike in the boot and go to hills and use it.

I think I might get sucked in though as I'm already wondering what more power might be like - the turbo 'shove' is quite addictive but would prefer the car to be reliable. It seems hard to find much out about the more recent models such as I have heard about head gaskets in the 2.5 engines or changing the turbo in the WRX to that which is in the WRXS - I've read bits but not enough to know what and why - so I'll be asking questions

Thanks

Mark
