Default F40 in Lewes....

Could not beleive it, for the 1st time last week saw 4 F40's at Dunsfold actually moving. All other times they were in magazines on the telly or stuck on a wall poster.

So it was a real treat to see....

Then yesterday came through the Lewes tunnel and on Lewes side had an F40 go in the opposite direction.....bloody things are like busses...wait years then see 5 over 2 weeks.

Checked out what there worth on Pistonheads........£350,000.....nice toy if you can afford it.

Could be the guy that owns Frosts. He had one at the Brighton Speed Trials many moons ago. The following year he had an F50!

Nope.....he sold his one years ago to Bob Oram who owns Hove Car Spares, then he got his F50 and has now sold that. He is driving around in a F430 and a 599 now, but rumour has it he has ordered the new McLaren!!!

i prefer it alot more to the f50. i've been quite lucky that theres an f40 owner who used to drink at the pub at the end of my mum and dads road and i still see that one most weekends and have followed it a few times, to say its goes well is an understatement.

My mate took me out in his a few years ago. It cost him under £200k back then, so his money-making abilities have not let him down again

I am quite surprised at that. Thought it would be more.

But I suppose it's down to limited milage and all the other boxes being ticked. Uber garage, alarms, gun enplacements etc etc.

Theres one in east preston 'sussex' owned by Peter Saywell. Compared to todays standards the finish on the paint (you can see the carbon underneth) and panel gaps are a joke but they are a beautiful machines. There would be one in my dream garage
