I'm no longer bionic :(
Just had some metal work taken off of my collar bone, here it is. As most people appreciate a bit of engineering, thought this might be of interest. Notice ten holes and only nine screws, uh oh!

Did you get to keep it? I'm sure you could find a use for it under the bonnet of the car as an intercooler mount or Oil Cooler bracket.

Exactly what I wanted to do but they wouldn't let me have it back due to health and safety. At the least I wanted to hang it in the shed over my bike as a reminder not to do anything stupid again.
Oh, the missing screw was near the middle because my clavicle had pretty much exploded so there wasn't anything to screw it to. |

Health and safety?
So it was okay to be under your skin, screwed to your collarbone, but it would have presented a hazard to you if it was in your shed. What a nonsensical argument! More likely they'll sterilise it and stick it to some other poor ****er! |

Perhaps the NHS never transferred ownership to you so it was therefore on loan.
Wonder what the scrap value of Titanium is and whether the surgeon has an account at that metal recycling place down the road from JPP? |
