From what I've seen over a number of years this is quite a good close championship within Europe. Not sure what it's impact will be on the BTCC though. It may dilute it a bit IMHO.

Looks interesting....

I guess the success of a new series will depend on how close the racing is and how good the tv coverage is. It says debut season next year - have they confirmed a race calendar?

Should be good - If I could drive fast (which I can't) and was more 'racey' this is the kind of thing I would love to do. BTCC style racing is so much more fun than F1. Don't get me wrong I love F1 but the battles in the BTCC are right up there.
