Default Cadwell Park (Mini NurburgRing)

Went up to see the folks in Lincolnshire and realised that Cadwell Park was just 30 mins away.......well it would be rude not to pay a visit and scratch another circuit off my attendance list.

Was very very impressed with the circuit which is 2.2miles long with lots of gradient changes, off camber corners, a jump and a nice wooded section. Just like a Mini-Ring (which turned to to be exactly what it's nicknamed I found out later).

Just a shame it isn't used much for top level cars, as is too narrow.
Also not worth the journey from here for a Car Track Day as is 5-6 hours away.....the real RING is only 4 from Dunkirk......

Anyway, here's some pics.
Sorry not many as forgot to charger camera (DOH!!!).

Cadwell is a nice but dangerous track, too narrow (as you said) and not enough run off. Good track to spectate i should think, love the jump especially with the bikes, but they also have some big accidents there aswell!!!

Yes very little run off, even Oliver commented about the lack of gravel traps, just tyres and arnco.

With the exception of the NurburgRing this has to be one of the best circuits for spectating I have been too, hence why for BSB (in 2 weeks) it is expecting to pull in big crowds.

I can't believe he only said "****"!

Great vid scott, that is a really narrow track. That one dodgy gear change 40 secs in and 4 cars go past Just shows you how every facet has to be spot on all the time.
