Wow, what can I say…played the following, that stood out. Photos to follow, some I was allowed, some had to be covert.

Assassins Creed, played the brand new multiplayer mode with 6 other people. Your all assassins with chosen abilities, and you have to find the others. You only have a compass showing the basic direction of your chosen target. Trouble is, those who’ve played 1 and 2, know that you can blend into the crowd, and you often ( I did it a lot ) kill a civy, not a assassin.

The map for single play is 4 * the size of the previous game.

Black Ops ( no photos, played a mode that hasn’t been announced yet ). Again played multiplayer, new mode. You all start off with a pistol, when you get a kill, you get a better weapon, another kill, another better weapon, and so on. There are 20 tiers of weapons, ranging from basic sub, shotguns, noob tubes, sniper, then finally, ballistic daggers. If you keep dying, you go down a rank. Makes the game much more fast paced, and removes camping, as there no reward for it.

If you thought the graphics were good in MW2, you aint seen nothing yet!

Need for Speed, a return to form for those that missed the old style of NFS. This time you can play the cops to. Made by the guys who did the Burnout Games, so can imagine who good it is, think Burnout Revenge, but with a NFS skin. For those who loved Shift ( me ) don’t panic, early next year, Shift 2. Looks like there’s always going to be 2 a year now.

Medal of Honour, a great alternative to CoD, played both single and multiplayer. Single play is typically
MoH, fast and frantic, lots always going on. Multiplayer is by Dice, people behind all the Battlefields. Graphics not up to the CoD standard, but still very good.

GT5….in 3D. well, the future of gaming has arrived, sorry to use text speak but OMFG. The 3D effects in a totally new level to all the bloody 3D films that have bombarded us recently. And it works so well, GT5 almost looks real, in car view is stunning, you feel like reaching out to touch the switches etc etc. The only downside is the cost. £100 ish just for the glasses, and £???? Amount for a new 3D compatible LED TV.

Like Blue rays up scaling old DVDs, some older PS3 also get converted as you play them to look 3D, but not to the same level.

Also watched the Blue ray work in 3D, Toy Story 3 looked the same as in the cinema.

Move, the Wii is officially dead. This is pixel perfect accurate, and a doddle to set up. The games are a little gimmicky at the mo, but “real” gamers games are just around the corner. Already out, so grab one before they go.

Gears 3. New everything! Multiplay beast mode is awesome, and I didn’t think the graphics on Gears 2 could get any better, well, your going to be blown away. Not out till next April, but it’s the last one, so all the stops have been pulled out.

Other ones I got my hands on.

PES2011
Fifa2011
Driver
Just Dance 2
007 Bloodstone
Enslaved
Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock
Rockband 3
Sims 3 ( console version )
