Default what the hell is going on???

what the hell is going on lately ive had about 4 mates that have had there cars nicked.... surrey police have recovrd x2 ferrari F430's and a 458..... about a week ago i had my van broke into thankfully i had the biggest twat break into mine and only stole the cup holders a broken phone hands free kit that belonged to the oldest nokia your likely to see and a few t-shirts i got it all back but is there something in the air or something??

cost of living is going up, salaries aren't. more people getting desparate to make a quick buck i guess.

I had my fitters van broke in to about a three weeks ago and it cost me £1000 to replace the bits there nicked

This is always on my mind as I own 8 vehicles (inc work).

I know a guy that owns his own small car security company and he admitted to me that if they want your car/van they will have it no matter what system you have.

He still says a steering wheel lock cover is still the best way to put off potential car thieves as it created too much noise to cut off and being visible saves your windows from being smashed.

thats why we have 1 on each car, even though we have a tracker on the scoob.

All my jobs this week have been repairs from break ins, to many people still not dead locking doors

Its not a local thing, as i was in Essex yesterday, south london today and Middlesex earlier in the week

Some skanky bastard smashed a window in on me big van in wallington last week coz i stupidly left the sat nav cradle on the dash... and i was only there 1 night! I leave the sat nav cradle on all the time in eastbourne and never had any trouble!

i have installed a tracking system from tom tom in my car same as work van .. it links to google maps and is real time . system is called tom tom work ., it tells you how fast ur going harsh braking harsh cornering when the ignition is on or off everything ..! plus cctv outside my house and a good alarm system .. last yr did nt have alarm system on my van (i do now just in case there are any pikeys online !!!) and van got broken into twice in a month .. and the fair was in town !!!

On 1st January i've been robbed,some scums broke to our car and manage to cut wires,stole our gauges and other stuff from our car,bloody scums
