Default What a day at Brands

Had a simply fantastic day at Brands today.
A supplier of mine, treated me and a couple of buddies you might just recognise to VIP treatment .
Phil the MD, races in the GT3 Cup in his ferrari 430 Scud.
So we had access everywhere, hospitality area with lovely lunch, beer, cakes etc.
Full access tp pits, pit wall etc.

Here are a few pics and vids to show a little of how the day was.

Worzel took over 1000 pics, they are going to be fantastic.

A few of the 430

5 k of ceramic brakes, stunned to see after 2 hours the pads had barley worn more than a few mm.

Erm, had to offer my services for this, after all it is on sky

Have to have the truck to go with the car

Only half a million quid for this one

Some nice scenery

The chaps

An unwell GT40

Mmmm Nice

The 1st driver change and fuel stop, Didnt go completely to plan, as car stopped to far from fuel rig.

Getting a lick on

Best bit is i'm doing it all again in two weeks, but this time at SPA.
Cant bloomin wait

What a fantastic day mate, very enjoyable indeed.

It was great to catch up with Rich again too.

How lucky were we with that rain too, both times we walked down to VIP Hospitality, the second we sat down is pissed hard. Sooooo lucky

Having a look through the pics on the camera last night, there are some goodies for sure mate.

Especially the ones of our "Pit Bitch"

It was a good old catch up Steve, especially the chats over tea and afternoon cakes, what what what.

We did time everything just right with our sit downs and walk abouts regarding the rain. Boy did my feet ache, we must of covered a fair few miles of walking to and fro, a long old soak was very much needed when i got in!
