Exactly as the thread title says, Tanner Foust has broken the world indoor speed record for the US Top Gear, using a rallycross specification Ford Fiesta:
The video also includes the rallycross Fiesta doing a lap of the US Top Gear test track, reiterating why I want a rallycross car! NB: The "bringing the record back to America" line is quite funny: That Fiesta was developed in Europe, has an engine built in the UK and raced globally: so pretty much as un-American as you can get! ![]()

Its actually not that bad. Its only been going about a year and, although a lot of the inspiration for the features is obviously lifted from the UK version, its still fairly watchable.
