Default Headers
Right booked in on the 16th for a map tweak/checkup and am considering sticking a set of tubular headers on been considering these ones:

The supplier is Andy Williams who built my engine - Simon reckons it's the headers that are limiting my car so this should free up some extra ponies.

So some questions:
  1. How easy would it be to fit these - axle stands and trolley jack, no ramp
  2. Are the GT Spec ones really £300+ better?
  3. Will my Harvey 2 bolt up-pipe fit in place of the supplied one (I'm thinking it would make fitting easier)

Go for 3 bolt headers much less hassle in the long run

I don't think you will gain allot as you have ported headers anyway dont you? In fact you may even lose some ponies. Ther you go now now say thanks to your uncle Nige for saving you some money :EVO:

Ported heads don't do much . Tubulars with 3 bolt up pipe are a must over 400bhp .
Spool will be fine

Looks Like I'm saving for a set of GT's with a Harvey Matched Up-Pipe then.

I've had 3 sets of two bolt headers and all were rubbish , nothing but bloody problems , blowing all the time on the up pipe to header flange .
There are some brand new 3 bolt ceramic coated ones on eBay for under £300, but have no idea what make they are. The guy has sold a few and positive feedback
