Default What a choice
Went out for a meal with one of my oldest mates. He offered to drive and let me pick the car from:

Bentley Turbo R
BMW 1M (modded to around 400 bhp)
Ferrari 458
Ferrari F40
Porsche GT3
Mercedes 350SL

Which did I choose?

Which would you choose?

I'd go for the F40.

mmmm... tough one. Personally the 458 being a more 'modern' ferrari. I will plump for the GT3 for you phil.

Did you go for a Maccy's drive through?

No Steve, we went for an Indian, no Macdonalds around where he lives (I'm up in Gloucestershire for a week or so while the T25 is at PowerStation).

I've been out in the F40 before though

Would have taken a cab and had a few beers with me old mate.

Then taken the Gt3 in the morning.

F40 for me too. Along with the RS500 it was my first favourite car. Still love them now. Only saw one in the flesh for the first time a few years ago, very emotional experience!

That' not the half of it, either. Road cars not there included a Ferrari 275GTB/4 matching numbers, a 1960s Rolls and a 205 GTI 1.9, and then there are the racing cars, including 3 Lola T70s, Nissan R90, Chevron B8, Porsche RSR, lightweight E-Type, Alfa T33.

My mate competes in the British GT championship, so whichever car I chose was going to be a memorable ride.

Te 350SL is from the 1970s, and like all his cars, in perfect condition.

Ah, the R107 - not the best flavour.

Well, I decided to go in the Bentley. It was the only marque of those on offer I hadn't been in before and I was very impressed with both the kick in the back when it was given the beans, and how well it went around the corners

Knowing what Martyns experience and Tim, Gregs experience of Powerstation has been.....surprised the T25 goes there!!

Not thought anymore about the classic lotus then?

Amazing! I'd need a Euro millions win and a big one at that to be able to compete! Love the the 205 getting in there amongst it all!

It's a moving feast Ron. I went from a Lotus to thinking about a 997 CS2, but frightened off by the engine problems, so I decided to have the T25 done at PowerStation, where I've always been happy with my experience, though I am aware of the problems others have had.
Having said that,I should have had a call today to confirm that it will be ready tomorrow but I heard nothing. Hoping to be back home tomorrow still
