Default Jetwash noob. Looking for recommendations.

'Afternoon.

So I've decided I want to get myself a jetwash, but know naff all about them.

Looking for one that doesn't cost the earth and has the ability for a snowfoam attachment?

Any recommendations welcome.

Many seem to favour Karcher washers and the varying models means there is a good selection for all price brackets.

I bought a snow foam lance from cleanyourcar.co.uk and it's designed specifically for Karcher fitment, Karcher might even offer a snow foam style attachment themselves now.

£35 wickes and still going strong after 10 years and I'm not delicate with it when it gets in the way.

Thanks, they do seem like the ones to go for - having a browse now.

Taken note of that site, too. Seems quite handy, as the ones I'm looking at don't seem to supply an snow foam attachment.

I have a Nilfisk, which has been a loyal servant.

Like Scott, I don't mince about with it!

Stig and Scott - Did yours come with the relevant snow foam attachment? Or did you get it from a site like the one NL03 mentioned?

Mine came with a fixed lance... didn't mix the snow foam very well, so I bought an adjustable one.

If you just want something to wash your car, then pretty much anything will do the job. The bottom end Karcher K2's used to use plastic components rather than metal which made them failure prone, but i'm not sure if that's still the case.

If you want to clean your patio/drive/decking etc, the the Home Karcher versions are decent enough. I've got the K4 Home Premium version:
https://www.johnlewis.com/karcher-k4...g&gclsrc=aw.ds

Done the trick so far, vario lance to adjust the pressure, dirt blaster lance and the whirly thing for the patio.

Then just add these:

Thanks for that! I did look at a K2, but wary of those plastic parts - will find some recent reviews.

Yeah, just for the car really - though I'll probably attempt to have a play about with it on the patio. That K4 does look like the full star trek pressure washer hah.

I got a snow foam bottle & attachment from cleanyourcar.
You just need to make sure that whatever machine you get has an adaptor for the snow foam bottle available.

I have a nilfisk and it's fine. Like Scott, I also got a snow foam lance and attachment from cleanyourcar and it's great.

Www.Karcheroutlet.Co.uk and www.Nilfiskoutlet.Co.uk are worth a look for a bargain. I went for the Nilfisk as told the pumps were better in the lower end models by a place in Crawley that sells both. If you want an industrial hot water one then Karcher are meant to be better but you are looking at big money.
