SES - TCR for FREE, Brands Hatch, Sunday 3rd June 2018

SES have managed to secure Free tickets for SES to attend the TCR Championship round of the BTCC on 3rd June 2018 : http://news.brandshatch.co.uk/archiv...roup-test.aspx

We initially have space for 15 cars for SES members to attend in an official capacity.

Driver and passenger get in for 'Free'

To avoid issuing tickets to freeloaders who may find this thread via google, free tickets and stand space will only be allocated in the following priority :

a) Subaru owners & SES members who have been a member of this forum for at least 6 months
b) Non-Subaru owner (but interesting vehicle) & SES member who have been a member of this forum for at least 6 months
c) SES members who have been a member of this forum for less than 6 months
d) Friends of SES members (excluding +1 passenger)

I have just asked for 16 car slots so let's see what happens.

I'm not sure if we will get tickets for +1's because they seem to of changed their policy in 2018.
Previously they did give tickets for passengers but at the BTCC they only sent tickets for cars and driver. I had to re-negotiate to get the additional tickets.

I should find out in the next few days.

I’m in for now hopefully but i have work to do if my car is going to be ready....I Have an electrical problem alternator or a knackered battery where my car has been not driven for over 8 months over winter and now my external motorsport fuel pump has begun to leak quite bad...it could be a An- fitment that has come loose or a braided hose problem will update ASAP if it’s a no go.SJ.

I'm out of this one unfortunately. An engine fire means the scooby is well and truly out of action and I'm still trying to convince the insurance company not to write her off, so she definitely won't be ready in time. Was really looking forward to this but will have to wait for the next one.

This event is on Sunday. The thread title has always said Sunday but I only noticed this morning it said 2nd June rather than the 3rd.
Race meetings like this are always on the Sunday (Saturday is normally just practice/qualifying and occasionally support races).

I'm out guys, car has failed to start on me again today on the petrol forecourt (typically I'd just bought all the food for tomorrow) time to replace the immobiliser relays I think as everything else seems fine. I've also just seen the temperatures for tomorrow and not sure I trust my radiator when it looks like this at the bottom:



New one is in the garage waiting but trying to source another replacement fan housing before I pull it all out.
