Dunlop Eagles are pretty good, or a set of Falkens.

I'm running those all round.
Only poor in the damp, apart from that stunning rubber. Looking to go with 888's next time. ![]() |

Dunlop F1's (if still around0
Toyo T1-R's Falken FK452 All pretty good all-rounders. Bridgestones are good but pricey and the sidewalls are very hard giving a harder ride. Last edited by Scott.T; 24-12-2009 at 09:06 PM. |

P Zero's are vastly over rated IMHO and ****ing expensive to boot.
My first scoob came with a set of falkens, they were great tyres. ![]() |

i think im gonna go with the toyos or the falkens. Whats your thoughts on getting them cheap off ebay or is there potential dodgy stuff?

If you're still looking I had the Toyos but felt the tyre wall was too soft and induced more sway round the corners. Have just switched to Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas that seems to cure this while retaining the same levels of grip. About the same price as Toyos on the internet discounters.

I have yoko prada's fantastic in the dry but truly awfull in the wet.
Before the Yokis i had the toyo's which were excelent wet or dry. I only use the scoob in the dry so it suits me to have the amazing grip when dry. |

And only £100 a corner from camskill, and will be buying some in few weeks time. Didnt get on with prada's,the toyo t1r's were pretty good, but the review put the Vredestein's above them. Loved the 888's best of all though, but theres a price to pay, with cost and wet grip.

think im gonna plump for the toyos, seem to be the easiest to get hold of at a pretty good price. Tempted by the Vredestein's but cant find them anywhere!

After a massive cock about, no locking wheel nut key thanks to moron last owner finally got some tyres on the car and not even the ones i want! By the time id messed about loads and got to wealden tyres it turns out they didnt have the Ultrac Sessentas but the Ultrac Centos. Problem is my tyres were so illegal and id messed about already so just slapped them on at £90 a tyre. Not too impressed by them yet, considering taking them off sticking them on ebay and getting hold of a pair of sessentas or toyo t1-rs. Good or bad idea, how much money will I lose?
Cheers, Dave

I have Hankook tyres all round at the moment on advice from a friend and I must say for the money they are very good.
They generate more grip than the PP Zero's I had before. Going for 888's next time. |
