Default Torque Developments International - Thurrock

Hey All,

Just been looking through the Specialists thread that was started & it got me wondering who I should be using in Sunny Essex when the day comes

I've seen Torque Developments in Thurrock but just wondered if anyone had used them before or heard any reports.

http://www.tdi-plc.com/index.php

They are based next door to AMD Technik who have done all the work on my Cupra but being VAG specialist I was considering a switch to TDI for servicing the Impreza when I get one.

Anywho ta for any help.

Neil

I have a good friend who uses them. His car is actually there right now.

2.35 engine and last Thursday they achieved 677 Bhp at the hubs without NOS.
He rates them very highly.

Where they are different is that they bill you at every £3K rather than hit you with a final invoice. They do this as last year they had completed 25K's of work for a guy and when finished the customer informed them he had no funds and left the car there.

2.35 Classic GL Impreza running on Bio. You may sometimes here me talk about my friend SleeperSy. It's his Classic.

This is me driving his car at The Pod.
We had about 15 runs filmed at 500 fps to study suspension matters.
(Filmed in HQ so hit full screen option.)

They never use to Gary. He tried them after reading up on them and has been really impressed with them ever since. Sy had the first new Cosworth inlet manifold in the UK and had an issue with the throttle body not being large enough. He then got a throttle body from the huge Nissan 4x4 sold in the USA and has had probs.
A few days ago it made just over 800 Bhp at the f/w. The Turbo was peaking out a 5K so now he has direct 100 shot of NOS in @ 5K - 7K.
If the g/box holds up Sunday he will be quick.
