Default Help - 2 questions!

Hi all, and really hope there's some help out there on these two questions.

A) having recently returned to scoob ownership, I'vw now realised that I'm running up to mot time, and, erm, am struggling to here any 'meows' from my car. Never used to be a problem as my old mot tester used to get confused with which car he measured for emissions, but that garage no longer exists ! Anyone know of any very very nice mot garages around Uckfield and beyond ?

B) classic mini, great condition, almond green, but have started to notice little white marks on bonnet, wings, and doors...noting I use will get them off ? Any immediate thoughts ? Someone said to my son for us to try a mixture of white vinegar and water ?

Any help appreciated, on both points !
Glenn

Only thing I can really suggest is just trying to chat to a few people in the garages around your way and see if they can do something for you mate, you maybe surprised and someone might 'sort you out' as well as getting the car through an MOT for you

Have you tried someone like chips away (I think thats what their called) to come have a look at the paint work? They may very well have a solution for you.

Agreed, all Mot's are stored on a central database now and things are a lot stricter than they used to be...

What exhaust have you got on the car at the moment?

My exhaust (Miltek) only has a sports cat in the centre section and it passes MOTs every time (when warm) so you on,y really need the one CAT.
