Quick question about timing on 8th, what time are we able to get out from? Got to drive to Cambridge to check into hotel before first day of my new job!
Don't need to leave early, i've just been asked for an arrival estimate.

If you need to get away I suggest you jump in the car before the end of the last race as there is a mass exodus afterwards, we do have the advantage of being in the circuit so you won't be queuing to get out of the car parks.

Nice one on the new job

I think generally it is 4pm or 4:30pm onwards, but depends on where the club stand is located (and the weather!) but Scott might have more info.

No problem with the +1. They can leave there car in the Brands Hatch outer car park on the road side of the turnstile, then jump in with you as you go through.

Hope it's not too serious Ryan? The wagon was acting wierd the other day but after a severe telling off its now behaving Bring the new motor, cardboard scoop on the bonnet no-one will notice

Guess I could qualify as a FSTi with a cardboard scoop! Ha ha ha

Hopefully nothing serious - came on very quickly and so hoping something has just given up (although plugs, fuel filter, injectors were only changed in sept 17).

Could be MAF, or coil pack?

The air / boost / whatever it is leak can be heard with the slightest blip of the throttle so again, hopefully something split or come off and I just can’t see it

The letter of the law is, and they probably have to state it for health and safety reasons, is that there should be no car movements. But in reality there always is and people seem to freely move about.

The only event where this is more enforced is Supercar Siege / Blancpain. But they have a small army of helpers, so they have the resource to enforce it

Does anyone know what the deal is with tickets for extra passengers? My sister has ME so won't know until the day if she'll be up to it so can't buy an advance ticket and just wondered if we can get her a ticket on the gate when we go in or if she'll need to go in separately?

+1 passenger is free. Additional tickets can be purchased on the gate. Either as you drive through or can jump out and walk through the on foot entrance.

Thanks for coming everyone, great day of racing as we've come to expect at Brands. Plenty of 'push to pass' moves at Clearways in the BTCC as usual and thankfully the majority of the rain stayed away.

Good to meet some newer members as well - Rob (PalmerWRX), Toni (TJSplattwell) and see Bolesroor's new scoob (kept that quiet! )

Hope you all enjoyed your day and remember we've got pretty much the same plan for the Blancpain Series on 5th May with spaces still available
