The Evo that posted the fastest time had bent some valve's on a trial run the same day. They fixed it sort of but were not happy as it sounded terrible. They said the car is capable of going even quicker if it was on form!!! Bloody hell if 5.84 isn't quick enough.

5.84 is just mental, neck breaking quick. v.impresive especially if they bodged things together and still managed that result. I wonder what a veyron could have done it in.

CJ: I know what you mean about the Zbox/Speedo difference. On the box it read 172 mph whilst my needle on the speedo stopped & started to bend

I REALLY wished I had gone out for a fast time as I knew at 172 I was at exactly 7Km still have another 1000 left. It would have made the top 3 no problem. .
I also completely hashed the starts too as the video revealed I was off boost at 30mph dawww

Nige: my car was Nr 41 mate.

Daz who is building the P2 engine went in Madhammers 622 Bhp classic for the last run, Totally sideways in 3rd and still managed a 8.62 and 183 top end. P2 will be finished for the next 30-130 and that should have nearer 650 Bhp so that will be a riot.

Felt SOO sorry for Gramps. (He will be back).
SleeperSy also had probs in his monster. Firing on 3 he achieved 163 mph

RobEVO5: you wondered about a Veyrons times, not sure about the 30-130 but on a timed quarter mile the fastest record to date was 10.8 secs. Sy's classic is 2 tenths faster . It's mad, I have driven it eleven times at the Pod and it's fookin quick.

Although the results did not look too good for poor Fudge I was happy with the P1. Never driven it over 155 before and I now know it will be well up in the 180's, plus many of the other cars were stripped out and proper nasty monsters
An official told me that on Saturday there were only FOUR cars that didn't break, blowup or have something fall off the car, and many cars broke Sunday too.
There were so many breaking that I phoned Olly just to confirm that it would be ok to keep running and his reply was "Just keep driving it like you just stole it".
That's confidence for yer lol...

The only thing we would see of that on the Autobahn is a P1 spoiler disappearing in the distance.
