I know I have asked this before ,is there any way i can find out if my ecu is the correct one for my car ?

![]() ![]() ![]() its on a 98wrx wagon with a VF 29 (1.2ish bar) I have been told it may pay to open the ecu up and take a photo of the inside to see if anythings been done to it as I dont know if the VF29 is standard and the boost seems alittle high

Right still trying to find out about the ECU in the car ,so,opened it up today.Just wondering if it had been chipped but dont know what i looking for???

88 is from a WRX Wagon and also the code on the yellow connector (D67) matches part of the code on the label, so it looks like the right ECU for the car in it's original case.
If the screws were hard to get undone/loctited then it hasn't been apart either. Is also hasn't been chipped as the rows of solder fiilled holes is where the daughter board would be mounted. Last edited by Scott.T; 05-03-2011 at 09:06 PM. |
