ive been looking at some new disc`s for the motor, now i have measured my disc "woof woof" they are 277mm
with 4pot`s. on ebay there are two sizes of discs both that fit the 4pot`s 277mm & 294mm it may be wishfull thinking but could i up size to the 294mm disc`s strait swap or would i need to space the calipers out a bit??? can it be done many thanks..... was told by jay @j.p.p`s will fit but would need to buy newage pads ???? mind you they have given me wrong info on a dump valve they sold me befor so ????? any advice please

Wasn't aware that the STi 3 came with 4-pots, I am now
Easiest way to check caliper clearance would be to measure the gap between the top edge of the disk and the caliper. The caliper normally sits quite close to the disk. You would need at least 8.5mm clearance to get the 294mm disk on and then suitable 99> pads in the calipers. |

I thought it was the sti4 that had the 4 pots, i know my brothers sti3 had the very ****e 2 pots on.

I think the STi 3 is a bit of a parts bin scavenger.

there is quite a gap between disc n caliper ??? as you can see in photo. lol @ sti v3/4 = mix n match nice
