Hi, well after 6 months and lots of money being spent, my Subaru is finally back on the road
![]() Also found that the ecu can be flashed to remove the fault permantly? The car will need a remap once iv run the engine in anyway as it's severely over-fueled so if that's correct it could be done at the same time? Like I say the car seems to be running fine even with this fault and my mechanic says he's never heard of the part and doesnt have a clue way it does lol. Cheers, Nick

Will find a pic for you but in simple terms it's a form of choke that only wrx have . Most people do tumbler delete if it's not being used .

Ok mate, that makes sense, if it is a form of choke does that mean it will cause issues on cold start up, especially in the winter months?
Is it a major job to remove them? And to clear the code?

not to hard to remove them , get your mapper to turn them off and as long as there in the open possition then no harm . the pick above is from my project thread and never had an issue with cold start in 6 years , but then you want if you use JGM
