Default advice please need adhesive to fit front splitter

im going to be re fitting my front splitter this weekend and i want to use the same adhesive if possible that held it on before only prob is i dont no what it was only black in colour..
if any one here can help me find a strong adhesive that would be great as the last one was very good... the splitter sits over the top of the bumper and is fixed with a screw at each end and the rest ie front is held by the adhesive i think it maybe a polyuthrane type but im guessing lol
any help will be welcome
