That was my initial thought Silver, but think about it. If he had rubber on the rear wheels (despite spinning) they would still be generating larger levels of grip.
Once momentum starts without rubber it just goes wild.

Looking at the opposite side of things it baffles me how a 500 ton train can gain any form of grip on metal rails with metal wheels ?????? but it does.

He has the front wheels on fullish lock + car has a very short wheel base not sure if that is how it is possible?
