Default gearbox repair options

Recently had the clutch release fork shaft failure so the fork hit the clutch and knocked a part off of the gbox that supports the shaft, need some options as cant really afford a secound hand box

have you checked ebay i have seen some boxs go for little as £50-80,

Ok cool might be interested as only other option is to machine out the outter shaft support ant turn up a sleave to replace it but dont want to weaken it too much, do you know if its a vb or vn code? Is it literaly just the caseing?

I have a couple of cases to, have you got the broken bit? Could get it welded back on?

Thought about welding it back on but it wouldnt be as strong

It will as strong if you get Ian to do it. He's just made up some alloy hard pipes for me & there fantastic
