Default 6 litre V8 & Supercharged

Yes I was out playing this afternoon in a Monaro. I have been in Granby's when in Germany so I know there nice.
This thing however just made me laugh so much I nearly did a deal on the EVO. Every chance I had I lit the tyres up & put the thing sideways. So easy to drive / control & that bloody noise is FANTASTIC!!!
I even spoke to Anger about it as the deal was made even sweeter with money ( quite a bit) coming my way. Anger replied with "what you gonna do when Big E passes you at the Ring"
At that exact moment I had a vision of E passing me on the Ring looking through his window laughing his cap off giving me the bird!!!
Not selling just for that reason.

Pretty hard to pass you if you keep it sideways as it'll fill the track and leave a smoke screen behind!

For a good laugh it was fantastic. I know the Evo has had it's probs, but I would be gutted & surprised if a VXR 8 passed me on the twisty bits. It's been a long time since I've had fun like that though, big engine rwd = big smile

Got to love the Monaro, if only for the sound of the V8!

The segment on Top Gear where they handed the keys of a Monaro VXR over to one of the D1GP drivers (think it was Kazama?) has to be one of my fave clips from the show.

Don't actually know it but have been watching it for sale, looks a nice car but i think hes pushing the engine too far as i sure it has not been forged, they reckon the 6lt V8 is good upto around 600bhp and he has it upto nearly 700bhp but has turned the boost down so running around 640bhp, it may be fine at that level but then again it may not
