Default Full service-small price

Just had service on the RB,air filter,fuel filter,oil filter, new oil in motor & also gearbox oil replaced & diff oil replaced .Also goes without saying brakes checked etc etc,all for the price of £200 & no he's not my mate(the mechanic)what do you think,good price?

Genuine parts and quality oils should have been ni on £170 bangers I'd have thought... Bloody bargain if you got all that and service stamp to....

Right ok,oil used is mobile 1 very good oil so ive been told,blueprint fuel filter,air filter was infact cleaned not replaced as was still like new(i only drive the car twice a week).labour £75.I think £208 is a very fair price as i was quoted in excess of £400 elsewhere.

Sounds like a good deal, but mobil 1 is not a oil that everyone likes.

Your not wrong ,the day i post that i see a few people saying mobile 1 is ,but never mind i dont drive the car very hard anyway,& only twice a week.

Problem is mate, as you will have seen on the scoobynet thread, you can post something up and people will have always have different ideas etc. I have just posted up to give someone an idea on a cambelt sevice as mine has just been done and they are trying to say they can get the same service for £300, with a cam belt!!! Can only think that the cambelt is an elastic band and the oil is extra virgin olive oil!!!

Your not wrong lucky,my mechanic been using this oil for years on cars & he does'nt see a problem with it.Never done any harm on my two impreza's.
