Default Not happy!!!!!

Right sorry bit of a rant but im slightly ****ed off, i take care of all my cars and even my work van, im allways carefull where i park and keep them clean as possible.

Popped into tescos on my way back from work in the work van, thought im only gonna be in there a couple mins and it was quite busy so i parked in the first space possible not thinking any of it. Only car next to me was a merc A class. Popped into tescos came back to the van to find a nice black scrape mark down the passenger side door. And to add insult to injury they knew they done it because theve even wiped the dirt off on and around the scrape and looks like theve tried to remove some of their paint off the door with a finger nail.

No note to say sorry or any details or anything just left it!!! FFS!!!!!!!

Not all bad though, theres no pannel damage to my van and only their paint is on the door and looks like itll come off with some clay and a good cutting polish. Must of scrapped the hell out of their bumper though lol and at least i get to add another scratch removal to my page.

If id of cought them id of probably lost my temper abit but id of asked them if they cant judge the distance around an A-class with added parking sensors should they really be driving at all?

I'm sure Tesco will have footage somewhere of the car in the carpark!?

i'm sure the other driver will appreciate a touch up bill just before christmas for their honesty!!

My wife had the same thing happen to the Focus ST a month ago, although they did mash the door, like you say, they know they did it but fooked off. It's just ****ing sickening!

At least you have the ability to get it out and looking good as new

i would say take 2 spaces when you park so people dont park too close, but then you'd probably get some retard key your motor or something just cuz you took 2 spaces.

i think all car park spaces should be bigger too.got a ticket once for using two spaces as all crippy spaces was full up,so couldnt get wheelchair out. went to court and won.cost the council more money for being greedy.

Im also very 'anal' with my cars, well thats what the misus calls it anyway!! Used to park in 2 spaces untill i came out once to find it keyed both sides in asda hollingbury, went through there cctv but the bl**dy trolley park shelter was in the way so we couldn't see who it was or what they were driving.
Dont park in 2 anymore, i just exclude myself to the other end of the car park or go later at night when its quieter.

Have a bad day myself yesterday. Parked up in Reading on business outside my head office. Only to come back and find black mastic squirted over the bonnet and 2 large down to the metal scratches.

No Idea why, but wasn't happy. Thankfully it was in my current winter workhorse Classic wagon, which I dont really care about, and its now just another war wound amongst a few others. But does get your back up.! If it had been on my Hawk I would have been climbing the wall.

Not the same extent as some of the damage in this thread, but I was over Orpington way last weekend, parked in a car park there leaving as much space for the cars either side as possible...

...came back to the car about 20 minutes to find a pair of lovely dents in my offside rear door, not sure if it was another door that did it or something being dropped against the car, but both were right on the "folds" in the door so really noticeable. Needless to say I was a VERY unhappy bunny.

I already had my car booked in for a service (at Gatwick Subaru) this week so I phoned them on the off chance they knew of anyone decent to sort my door. Turns out they did (Automotive Repair Service) and they arranged for the chap to come down and deal with the dents whilst my car was in.

Cost me £40, but the dents have now been eradicated: hurrah!

My door got similar treatment outside tesco express hove....
Fortunately, right underneath the security camera for the cash machine!!
rear quarter respray £700.... She played all ignorant about the whole thing....
Tesco's are obliged to give over footage to police over a complaint.... but it will be a civil action.... but if you have legal protection on your insurance it's a doddle. They'll do it all.
Act NOW....
Good luck...

Lol cheers for the comments guys, hopefully should be able to get it out, went to use the hose this morning and it was frozen solid so gonna have to wait till it defrosts lol It really annoys me people have no respect for other peoples things but it could of been alot worse i guess.

I used to park in 2 spaces when i had my rx7 but even then after a while people would still park just as close, at the end of the day unless your able to find a space with a kerb either side people will still give you door dents etc unless its in a car meet lol
